We judge, choose or decide, using rules and principles

The whole universe is governed by principles and rules.
Planets and plants don't choose what to do, they follow laws.
We are governed by natural laws too, but we also make laws.
These will determine our behaviour if we choose to follow them.
If we don't, then we may be judged and punished accordingly.
If there are no appropriate rules or principles to follow,
then we need to weigh up the evidence, use our conscience
and make what we judge to be the right choice.
It doesn't always work out, but we can learn from our mistakes!
